Co-Founder & Senior Wealth Advisor

Scott has always believed that having a trusted financial advisor means having time to pursue the things in life that are more important than money. For over 20 years Scott has been helping successful families and business executives do just that.

He grew up in the Eugene/Springfield area and graduated from the University of Oregon. His first job in finance came in 1996 when he took a position in Portland, Oregon doing research on publicly traded companies. After 5 years in the big city, Scott moved back to Eugene and has been focused on helping families manage their financial affairs ever since.

Above all else, Scott enjoys family time with his wife Melissa and their son Evan. In their free time they enjoy hiking, camping, spending time with friends and going to their cabin in Central Oregon.

Liz Brown

Client Service Assistant

Liz understands that the first step to starting a well-planned financial future means getting the groundwork done. Through a thoughtful client service mindset and a high level of organization, her job is to make that groundwork as simple as possible.

Raised in Spokane, Washington, Liz easily fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. She attended Willamette University and graduated with a B.A. in politics. After graduating, Liz worked in Willamette’s fundraising office, where she earned the opportunity to develop close relationships with high level donors. When Liz moved to Eugene, her experience at Willamette allowed her to seamlessly transition into her role at True.

Liz spends her free time running, hiking the abundant trails surrounding Eugene, skiing (when the season is right) and supporting Oregon’s local music scene.
